Associate Attorney – Estate Planning & Probate

Location: Austin, TX – Primarily remote; local candidates only due to required in-person hearings and occasional client meetings

Type: Full-Time

Base Salary: $100,000

Bonus Potential: $10,000–$50,000 annually, with no ceiling based on performance

We’re growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, compassionate Associate Attorney who is eager to expand our estate planning and probate practice.

What You’ll Do

• Manage your own caseload of estate planning and probate matters

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other planning documents tailored to client goals

• Represent clients in uncontested and contested probate matters, including hearings and related court proceedings

• Serve as a calm, informed advisor during emotionally sensitive conversations and legal processes

• Collaborate with the team on internal workflows, legal strategy, and client experience improvements

Remote Flexibility with Local Commitment

This position offers the flexibility of working from home most days, but it’s essential that you live in or near the Austin/Round Rock area . Court appearances, some in-office client conferences, and occasional team meetings will require in-person attendance. We’re looking for someone who can seamlessly balance remote work with those local commitments, without significant travel or scheduling limitations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Licensed to practice in Texas and in good standing

• 3–4 years of verifiable legal experience in estate planning and probate

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently with professionalism and compassion

• Detail-oriented, responsive, and driven to deliver excellent client outcomes

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000

• Bonus Potential: $10,000–$50,000 annually, based on billable performance and firm contribution—no cap
