Job Description

We are seeking to hire a medical assistant who will be responsible for assisting with administrative duties at our facility.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• A member of the medical clinic who under the direct supervision of the office manager and medical director. 
• Assures that customers and vendors are treated in a polite, satisfactory manner. 
• The candidate must be proficient in using the phone and computer systems, registration, scheduling systems, triage and transfer calls, as well as taking messages and transferring them correctly. Rooming patients and entering relevant information in patient's charts. 
• They are a problem solver and are able to work independently assisting provider in rooms with patient wound care. This is a part-time to full-time position.

Qualifications :

High School graduate or equivalent, and has completed all of the following criteria:

• Medical Assistant training and externship.
• Scheduling/receptionist experience.
• Fluently Bilingual (Spanish).
• Adaptable and accountable.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills. Listening and speaking skills. 
• Interpersonal skills: able to understand non-verbal cues.
• Computer skills: internet, Microsoft Office programs'.
• Typing skills - 50+ WPM 
• English and Spanish proficiency.

Work Location: Multiple locations.
