Job Title: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) – Construction Safety Manager

Employment Type: Direct Hire (General Contractor)

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually + Vehicle Allowance + Annual Bonus

Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Certified Safety Professional (CSP) to join our team as a full-time Construction Safety Manager for a high-security, large-scale federal construction project. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety and occupational health compliance, inspections, and program management in accordance with USACE EM 385-1-1 standards. This position reports directly to the Contracting Officer and plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the competent person for all safety and occupational health matters as defined by USACE EM 385-1-1
• Manage and enforce the site-specific safety and health plan
• Perform daily site safety inspections and hazard assessments
• Submit weekly safety and occupational health reports to the Contracting Officer
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and contract-specific safety standards
• Conduct and track safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective action plans
• Maintain all safety documentation including SDS, training logs, and inspection reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active certifications: CSP , CHST , and ASP
• Completion of five or more large-scale construction projects with documented scope, value, and role details
• Experience working under USACE safety protocols (EM 385-1-1)
• Strong background managing safety on mega construction projects
• No other assigned duties outside of safety and health responsibilities

• OSHA 30 (Construction)
• OSHA 510/500/502 and OSHA 511/501/503
• EM 385-1-1 40-Hour and 24-Hour
• 24-Hour Fall Protection Training
• HAZWOPER and Hazard Communication (HazCom)
• CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors)
• Epinephrine Auto-Injector Training

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities
