Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our high-end gourmet Italian restaurant chain. This pivotal role will oversee all business operations, financial performance, brand development, and expansion efforts. The CEO will work closely with the Founder, who leads the culinary vision, while sharing responsibility for developing the growth strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a premier Italian dining experience with a focus on excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy in collaboration with the Founder to expand the restaurant chain.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new locations, markets, and partnerships to drive growth.
  • Lead the financial performance of the company, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Work closely with the Founder to establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and key industry partners.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and exceptional service across all locations.
  • Implement systems and processes to maintain high-quality standards and operational efficiency across multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and labor laws.
  • Optimize supply chain management to ensure the highest standards of ingredient sourcing and quality control.

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Collaborate with the Founder to build and manage a high-performing executive team, including finance, marketing, HR, and operations, ensuring fiscal integrity during the early stages of expansion.
  • Foster a company culture that embodies the brand’s values of excellence, hospitality, and innovation.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and employee development programs to attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate staff performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational success.

Financial & Budgetary Oversight:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure sound fiscal management.
  • Drive cost efficiencies while maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of the business.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax and financial regulations, and timely audits.

Brand & Customer Experience:

  • Develop and execute marketing and branding strategies to establish a strong market presence and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Maintain the restaurant’s reputation for exceptional culinary experiences and customer service excellence.
  • Analyze customer feedback, trends, and competitive benchmarks to continuously refine the menu and customer experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Performance Standards:

  • Achieve revenue growth and profitability targets for each location.
  • Attain high customer satisfaction scores and positive online reviews.
  • Monitor employee retention and engagement metrics to maintain a motivated, high-performing team.
  • Enhance operational efficiency with a focus on table turnover rates, average check size, and cost control.
  • Ensure expansion milestones are met and track the successful launch of new locations.
  • Comply with health, safety, and industry standards for operational excellence.
  • Measure and track brand recognition and return on investment (ROI) for marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or senior executive in the high-end restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and brand development.
  • Ability to scale a multi-location restaurant concept while maintaining exceptional quality and service standards.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to execute complex business plans.
  • Passion for fine dining and a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine is highly preferred.
  • Experience in driving growth, managing high-performing teams, and developing strong customer-centric cultures.
