CHIEF INSPECTOR

Charlotte-North Carolina

In-Flight Crew Connections is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be working for a Part 145 Corporate aircraft maintenance repair station.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to all regulations outlined in 14 CFR Part 145, as well as any additional applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain established procedures that guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Conduct inspections to monitor compliance across all aspects of aircraft maintenance operations.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and repair are consistently met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and certifications.
• Ensure that all required documentation and reports are completed thoroughly and submitted in a timely manner.
• Facilitate the proper retention and storage of records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on compliance status, issues, and initiatives.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic certificate (required) IA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with significant experience in a regulatory compliance role (required).
• Thorough understanding of 14 CFR Part 145 regulations and other relevant aviation regulations and standards (required).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Compensation:

• Competitive based on experience.
