Our client, a leader in the aircraft maintenance industry, is seeking a dedicated Chief Inspector to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance at their repair station. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the inspection team, ensuring FAA compliance.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate inspection staff for quality and professional growth.
• Coordinate inspection schedules and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Conduct thorough aircraft and maintenance procedure inspections.
• Review and approve maintenance documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to improve inspection procedures.
• Investigate discrepancies, incidents, and accidents, providing reports and corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and technology advancements.
• Participate in internal audits and support FAA inspections.
• Perform other duties as needed to support team and repair station operations.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and maintenance tracking software.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for team collaboration.
• Knowledge of aviation safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) certifications.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or inspection role (Part 145 preferred).
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces.
