Job Description

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to support a team of three family law attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. This role involves high-level client interaction, administrative support, and case management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities.

This position offers a hybrid schedule and a competitive salary based on experience! ($75-85K+)

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Organize and maintain both electronic and paper filing systems following legal procedures.
• Track and monitor court dates, deadlines, and case milestones.
• Prepare, proofread, and revise legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and reports.
• Coordinate attorneys' schedules, including court appearances, depositions, and meetings.
• Assist in preparing attorneys for hearings and client meetings by organizing relevant case materials.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, faxing, and document distribution.
• Track billable hours for attorneys and assist with the client billing process.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant supporting multiple attorneys.
• Experience in matrimonial law or civil litigation is preferred but not required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems, e-filing platforms, and billing software.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
• Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
