Food Safety Manager

• Food Manufacturing Industry experience
• Extensive knowledge in the areas of Workers Compensation, OSHA, DOT, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains all safety and accident records
• Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards
• Develop and implement Safety programs
• Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility
• Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives
• Implement, and maintain all corporate Safety and Health Programs
• Provide training support to the organization and ensure that all required monthly training is completed as scheduled
• Conduct documented periodic safety and health audits and track findings to ensure closure

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management
• Follow and implement OSHA regulations
• Food manufacturing experience
• Strong working knowledge of EH&S regulations, compliance requirements
• Continuous improvement
• Strong knowledge of EHS/OSHA/EPA regulations and standards.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to EH&S
• Certification in EHS programs and practices
• Expert knowledge of safety system analysis
