Job Description

Russell Tobin is seeking a Lab Technician III for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.

Job Title: Lab Technician III

Location: Maplewood, MN (on-site)

Job Type: Contract

Length: 12-Months

Hours: 9am/5pm core hours - flexible (Monday through Friday)

Pay Rate: $24 - $27 per hour

Job Description:

• Primary responsibility to include physical property and destructive testing of films and adhesives.
• Chemical mixing, coating of experimental formulations on thin films to thicker substrates.
• Technician will work closely with product developers, engineers and teams.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Ability to work independently and takes direction well.
• Three years of work experience working under a lab setting
• Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
• Worker performs chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required.
• Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line are required.
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
• Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.

Education:

• Associate's degree with STEM background
