A connoisseur of culture who can write in multiple tones, flexing from the scientific to the outlandish. Always shoot for the stars but knows how to reign it in when needed. You want to be a part of it all, from concepting, to writing press releases and related copy, pitching and compiling reports.

About the Role

We’re looking for a world-class Public Relations/Media Relations Manager who can craft compelling, intelligent, and conversion-driven press releases, social posts, articles, emails and more. The ideal candidate will have built relationships with media outlets and can pitch stories and articles to publish.

Responsibilities

• Consistently and efficiently pitch ideas that advance company strategies
• Write and deploy press releases, to direct media and through wire and distribution channels along with other communication materials like social media posts, emails, website copy etc.
• Measure and track pick ups, audience, and news outlets for all news release projects, compiling into a report for review.
• Manage in-house media and news contact lists, all media asset libraries, oversee asset licensing and usage agreements.
• Monitor media status of clients and individuals and make recommendations for proactive responses, coordinate media response.
• Develop, update, keep current and communicate to teams the Unplanned Urgent Media Plan (crisis media plan)
• Collaborate with other teams and client companies/departments media and news needs.
• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and effectively meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned
• Work in collaboration with outside public relations agencies, coordinating with in-house team members to keep workflow moving.
• Manage incoming media requests for 5-hour ENERGY, other Ips and Manoj Bhargava, founder of 5-hour ENERGY.
• Work closely with social team to align on campaign strategy.

• Proven Experience in Performance Copywriting: You know how to drive conversions and optimize for ROI.
• A/B Testing & Data-Driven Approach: You’re comfortable analyzing results and refining messaging for better performance.

Qualifications:

• 5 – 7 years of experience in communications, PR, or copy writing
• Exceptional time and project management skills, including the ability to handle subtly different priorities from multiple stakeholders
• SEO & content strategy experience.
• A self-starter; ability to work with minimal direction
