We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team and support the receipt inspection of materials and equipment for a major LNG project in Sabine Pass, Texas.

Role Overview

• Perform receipt inspections of incoming materials and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable standards.
• Validate delivery documentation and conduct PMI and dimensional measurements to confirm material composition and specifications.
• Ensure materials and equipment comply with industry codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review and verify documentation such as Manufacturer's Data Books (MDBs), Material Test Certificates (MTCs), maintain detailed records, and communicate inspection results and non-conformance issues.
• Utilize SAP QM Module to track inspection results and manage non-conformances.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or equipment, coordinate corrective actions, and prepare non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper storage and handling of materials and equipment.
• Conduct spot checks and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse and Materials Management team to maintain up-to-date documentation, including Certificates of Compliance (CoC), Material Test Reports (MTRs), and other required records.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM) Module, PMI, dimensional measurements, and document reviews.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards, material specifications, and testing processes such as ASME and API.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in receipt inspection or quality control in oil and gas, LNG, or manufacturing industry.
• Certifications in Welding, Coating, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), or Positive Material Identification (PMI) considered an asset.
• Experience with mechanical and piping materials, valves, and rotating equipment inspection.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Quality Management (QM) Module is essential.
• Experience reviewing Manufacturer’s Data Books (MDBs), Material Test Certificates (MTCs), and related inspection/test documentation.
