Job Description: As a Senior Stormwater Engineer, you will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of stormwater management systems. You will work on a variety of projects, from urban development to environmental restoration, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that address the challenges of stormwater management in urban environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of stormwater management systems, including detention and retention facilities, green infrastructure, and drainage systems.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support project design and analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, design plans, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and landscape architects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in public meetings and presentations to communicate project goals and progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon or the ability to obtain one within six months.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulic design.
• Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal stormwater regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects from concept to completion.
