Retail Store Manager

In this role of Retail Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading with a spirit of accountability, positivity, and engagement. Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide an exceptional in-store experience through genuine, authentic Client Relationship Development
  • Meet and exceed daily, monthly, and annual store sales and profit goals while maintaining expenses.
  • Lead team towards very high levels of accountability and responsibility for results. 
  • Recruit and hire flexible and available Sales Consultants who represent the NIC+ZOE brand.
  • Be the champion of training, coaching and development to deliver strong selling skills to Sales Consultants and Stylists and coach Sales Consultants to ensure strong selling skills and Client relationship development.
  • Motivate staff to meet store goals and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment; communicating sell through, stock levels, customer feedback and opportunities to increase sales to corporate office.
  • Ensure merchandising concepts are set up and standards maintained.
  • Perform and supervise store opening/closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening, and closing registers, and securing facility.
  • Conduct daily store meetings to ensure accurate and consistent metrics expectations.
  • Maintain payroll budget and weekly hours to ensure appropriate sales floor coverage by reviewing store schedule and adjusting as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
  • Perform inventory responsibilities including the timely and accurate processing of all markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping and receiving to maintain operational integrity.

  • Comfort in making decisions and mediating conflict in a team environment.
  • Proficient in PC based software including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Education and Background

  • High school degree required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in a premium branded fashion + apparel brick + mortar retail store. 
  • Must be available to work store schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
