Whether we buy something out of impulse or try to follow a particular trend, all of us somehow end up with useless items cluttering the wardrobe for years. I have enlisted six wardrobe items you need to ditch for good or style differently. And if you insist on keeping them, I’ve also described how you can use them better. This guide will help you create a minimalist wardrobe.

1. Low Rise Jeans:

Low-rise jeans work for no one. It is one of the most pointless items to exist, seriously!! If you have a long torso and tiny legs. Forget about your low-rise jeans. It isn’t easy to style them with most of the present trends. Although, there was a time Low-rise jeans were trending and high in demand. But let us leave them in the past.

3. Platform Flip Flops:

Platforms flip flops once trendy and now rest in most bottomless pit of my 6 Wardrobe Items that see the slightest use. Because it is tough to style them with most looks. You need to have a keen eye for proportions and trends to nail this look.

As I mentioned before. It would help to balance your platform flip-flops according to trends and physical proportions. If you nail this part, the look comes together naturally, and they do make an excellent fashion statement.

4. Gladiator Sandals:

Gladiator sandals work well for only one group of people.. Gladiators!! If you did buy them on any eventful day, chances are they are stuffed somewhere in your wardrobe. Most styles don’t go well with gladiator sandals—your physical proportions are the most significant hindrance when styling gladiator sandals. Long straps of these sandals usually suit people with long legs and good height.

If you have a wide belt in your closet, chances are you didn’t wear it in years. Wide straps never were that versatile, even in their peak eras of the 1900s and 2000s. Something about them always looks misplaced. It is tough to pull a look with wide belts.

You can always make a wide belt look good. All hopes are not lost, after all; they look pretty nice if you use them with a dress with a little volume down the belt.

6. Shutter Shades:

I believe we all owned shutter shades once in our lifetime. Also, we all think they’re one of the least valuable items in our wardrobe. They don’t go with any look at all—a reason why I added them to this list.

How To Style This Better?

Wear your shutter shades with a contrasting color to your clothes if the colors do compliment each other. They will look nice.
