Our client, a nationally recognised leader in environmental law, is seeking an experienced Environmental Partner to join their distinguished team in Tallahassee, Florida. Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic counsel to clients on environmental laws and regulations at the federal, state, Tribal, and local levels.
• Lead or co-lead high-profile matters involving environmental compliance, enforcement defense, permitting, litigation, and due diligence.
• Advise on complex environmental issues across sectors including real estate, manufacturing, energy, maritime, and automotive.
• Navigate regulatory frameworks including the Clean Air Act, Endangered Species Act, NEPA, and the Inflation Reduction Act, among others.
• Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and results-driven legal support.
• Collaborate with policy professionals and technical experts to proactively address trends such as ESG, climate disclosure, PFAS regulation, and green technology.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission).
• Extensive experience in environmental law, ideally in a law firm or government agency.
• A demonstrated track record of client development, leadership, and team collaboration.
• Experience in litigation, enforcement actions, regulatory compliance, permitting, and/or environmental due diligence.
• Strong understanding of the intersection between environmental law, policy, and business strategy.
