Job Overview:

Azazie is seeking a Social Media Content & Editing Specialist to join our dynamic social media team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our brand’s digital presence by creating, curating, and editing high-quality content that resonates with our audience. From capturing engaging short-form videos to overseeing the aesthetics of our social channels, you’ll bring fresh, trend-driven ideas to life while ensuring our content aligns with Azazie’s brand identity.

Working closely with the Senior Social Media Manager and Senior Director of PR & Social Media, you’ll manage freelance content creators, contribute to social campaigns, and execute strategic content plans that drive engagement and brand awareness. This role is perfect for a creative, organized, and fashion-savvy social media expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about staying ahead of trends.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate with the social media team and key internal stakeholders to develop engaging, trend-driven social media strategies and campaigns that build brand awareness, support key business initiatives, and drive follower growth.
  • Lead and execute daily social media operations, including content planning, execution, copywriting, and community management.

Content Creation & Curation

  • Conceptualize, capture, and edit short-form social media content showcasing Azazie’s merchandise portfolio.
  • Maintain a high aesthetic standard, ensuring all content aligns with the brand’s identity and delivers an elevated, aspirational feel.
  • Oversee freelance content creators, ensuring outsourced content meets brand expectations and resonates with our audience.

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Foster the Azazie social media community by actively engaging with our audience in comments and direct messages.
  • Oversee all social media brand partnerships and giveaways, ensuring seamless execution and maximum engagement.

Event & Campaign Support

  • Support social media initiatives for branded events, capturing and sharing real-time moments to amplify brand presence.
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and campaign reports on established KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Data & Trend Analysis

  • Analyze social media data weekly to understand audience engagement and provide recommendations for content improvements.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, pop culture moments, and competitor activity, identifying opportunities for Azazie to join the conversation and maximize reach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media and content creation, with proven results.
  • Passion for social media, pop culture, and emerging trends.
  • Strong knowledge of TikTok & Instagram
  • Willingness to experiment, learn, and refine strategies based on performance.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-obsessed, ensuring every piece of content aligns with brand standards.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adapt content accordingly.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
